Chapter Architects

chapterarchitects.co.uk

I’ve been working with this architectural practice since Spring of 2018. Initially they were a partnership between an architect (Joe Edwards) and a surveyor (Bob Wilson) who had recently merged their own independent practices after collaborating on a project. That partnership evolved when Bob left and they’re now called Chapter.

The first site was for the domain e-w.london. They’d owned the domain for a year with active use with their email addresses, it was still lacking a website. The project started with the design and build of a single page to fill the space and force answers to topics such as visual style and content. This first version was completed after a single meeting and a few emails over the course of two days. It was always intended to be temporary while we created a proper site.

A more complete and CMS backed website was then created over the next two months. A year or so later, a further update was completed to incorporate some work on a brand identity.

In the autumn of 2025, the business began the process of renaming from Edwards Wilson to Chapter Architects. As of January 2026, the existing website has been adjusted for the new name and an entirely new website is in the process of being built.
