Constructive and Co

Constructive and Co design, make and install fitted joinery and furniture. The team includes the three owners plus five designers, makers and fitters at various levels of experience. Their workshop and studio is in Leyton, East London where they work on a wide variety of projects from domestic kitchens and storage, commercial work like reception desks and retail shop fit-outs.

As we also work together on developing their business’s strategy and process, making a new website was a good fit. Their existing Wordpress site was no longer fit for purpose after 5+ years. That site wasn’t mobile optimised, was slow to load, wasn’t running https and was rather dated from a visual and user experience point of view. Most important of all though was that the site didn’t represent what Constructive was capable of for their customers – both with their end results and their processes for creating the work.

The new site aims to better express the work they are best at: high quality woodwork for private clients or in collaboration with architects. The visual brand was refreshed, lightened up and includes a new logo designed in-house. The site is built responsively on Statamic (CMS) and is typeset in Nunito, by Vernon Adams.
