Red+White

Red + White works primarily on residential developments and needed a website to showcase its projects, ‘to highlight their experience’. In advance of creating the site, a brand identity was created by Darren Wall and Leo Field.

After initially thinking a full CMS would be necessary for the client to update the website themselves, we chose to take a lighter approach (ie: a faster and cheaper project) as changes would likely only occur a few times a year. Built with the static site generator Jekyll, the site is hosted on GitHub Pages (free) with images served and processed by IMGIX (small monthly fee). When ad-hoc changes are required, the client emails text and pictures and I manually update the site and bill accordingly by the hour.
